PCT Day 153

Bridge Creek to spring campsite – 27 miles (43km) – 2616 miles total

I crossed the 2600 mile marker today. It is T-2 until Canada. There was a lot of climbing today, however at only 27 miles it was pretty easy and we made it to camp before 6pm. Absolute luxury.

The start of the day was through the forest before a big climb which took the trail above tree line and the views were absolutely spectacular. There are views in Washington! You would never have known it after the weather of the last week.

Washington has views

The trail went a long a ridgeline and the side of a mountain before dipping back down under tree line. Then in the afternoon, there was another climb. This was a ridiculously steep one, but again it was above tree line with great views.

Tonight we are camped at 6655ft over 2000m elevation. It is going to be cold at this elevation.

Today I am thankful for nice weather and spectacular views.
