PCT Day 108

Ridgeline camp to South Fork Scott River – 27 miles (43 km) – 1579 miles total

There s nothing much to report from today. It wasn’t a particularly hard or easy day. There were lovely views at our lunch spot and great wildflowers in the Trinity Alps wilderness.

Wildflowers and Mt Shasta

D and I have a bet going about how far behind B is. D reckons a couple of miles, I reckon about 8. I think I’m right as she didn’t catch up with us today.

Near the end of the day there was a little bit of service, so I sat there for a good hour chatting to a friend from home. By then it was 5.30pm and with still 5 miles to do and wanting to get to camp at a descent time I jogged the down hills. Which is more of a shuffle with a pack on.

Today I am thankful for chats with friends.
