PCT Day 93

Packsaddle campground to Whiskey Springs – 25 miles (40km) – 1232 miles total

Today was a day of lots of short ups and down. It meant that we never had any huge climbs, but nor did we get extended periods of flat or down. I find that I can crush miles before lunch, after that I slow. We did just over 15 miles before lunch, with 9.4 to do after lunch, but those miles took forever.

The yellow flowers continue

We also are back to limited water on trail and have to walk off trail to get to water. The highlight of the day was passing a lake called Duck Soup Lake. My favourite name yet.

At camp we got straight into tents so as to not get eaten by mosquitoes

Today I am thankful for short climbs.
