Paradise Valley Junction to Eagle Creek – 20 miles (32km) – 1053 miles total
Today was a mostly lovely day. There was snow but it was patchy and didn’t go on forever, with plenty of dry trail in between to be able to stretch out my legs and walk like normal. There also wasn’t any huge climbs, just lots of little shorter ones. This means that we were able to do 20 miles today, a novelty since starting the Sierra.

There was also lots of wild flowers today, which were beautiful. The terrain is also changing to look more like the desert again. Red rocks, sand pack trail and less grey alpine mountains and rocky terrain.
We got to camp at a descent time and were able to sit around enjoying dinner and chatting.
Today I am thankful for wild flowers.
